1.What material is yard art made from?
Yard Art and Barn Quilts are made with Commercial Grade MDF Board. These are sealed with 2 coats of oil-based primer and painted with Primer-Based Exterior Season Flex paint. Once painted, I seal all materials with Semi-Gloss Indoor/Outdoor Helmsman’s Exterior Spar Urethane.
2. How do I care for my artwork?
Similar to other wood materials around your home, you will need to inspect your art at least once per year. If you notice any fading (this is typical in high heat and sunny areas), pull your art down and re-seal with Helmsman’s Exterior Spar Urethane.
3. How do I display my Yard Art?
Your Yard Art comes with ½” Conduit brackets attached to the back, where you can slide the piece over rebar (or another type of pole) to hold the art in place.
4. How do I care for my Engraved Cutting Boards?
Cutting Boards are waxed before shipping. If you wash your board often, you will need to re-seal with a Cutting Board Wax. I use Walrus Oil, Cutting Board Oil. Make sure your board is clean and dry before applying.
5. What is the estimated turnaround time for my order?
Our standard turnaround time for most orders is 14-21 days. Please note this estimate applies to processing and completion of your order and does not include the shipping time.
6. What factors might cause a delay in my order’s turnaround time?
Turnaround times can be impacted by factors such as :
a. Incorrect information from the customer
b. High volume seasons, like Holidays
c. Customization or special requests may add additional processing time.
d. Unexpected production delays, in which case we will notify you promptly.
7. Does turnaround time include shipping?
No, turnaround time refers to the time it takes to produce and prepare your order for shipping. The shipping window is a separate estimate that begins once your item has been dispatched.
8. How will I know when my order has shipped?
An email notification is sent when the order is dispatched. This email will include a tracking number and a link to monitor the package’s delivery progress.
9. What is the policy for lost or damaged packages?
If a package is lost or damaged during transit, be sure to get in touch with us immediately to file a claim with the carrier. Retain all original packaging and contents for inspection by the shipping carrier.
